Main Street Arts 2 is a visionary six-storey mixed-use development poised to enhance the vibrant community of Mount Pleasant in Vancouver. Situated at the intersection of East 4th Avenue and Main Street, this project aims to create a dynamic urban space that combines residential, retail, and childcare facilities within a sustainable and thoughtfully designed environment.
Main Street Arts 2 will feature 80,000 square feet of residential and commercial space, including 49 condominium units and a 37-space childcare facility. The development will offer a diverse mix of 50 units catering to many residents. The ground level will house five retail units, adding vitality and convenience to the neighbourhood. The second floor of the building will house the childcare facility, designed to be a safe and nurturing environment for young children, with two separate activity areas for toddlers and preschoolers.

Main Street Arts 2 exemplifies sustainable urban development, focusing on energy efficiency and community well-being. The building's design incorporates sustainable materials and construction techniques, enhancing its environmental performance. The project minimizes its carbon footprint by achieving BC Step Code 3 while providing comfortable living and working spaces.

This development represents the second building by PortLiving on this stretch of Main Street, following the Main Street Arts condos at Main and East 6th Avenue. By transforming a site previously occupied by an automotive garage and propane station, Main Street Arts 2 contributes to revitalizing the area, offering new residential, retail, and childcare options that enrich the local community.
